The new issue of “Vogue Polska Sport & Wellness” is out ahead of the Olympics
Our cover photo shoot created in collaboration with adidas presents athletes representing the national team: four canoeists Dominika Putto, Adrianna Kąkol, Anna Puławska, and Karolina Naja, whom their fans have nicknamed the Powerpuff Girls, track and field athletes Justyna Święty-Ersetic and Kajetan Duszyński, who won silver medals in the mixed 4 × 400 m relay in Tokyo in 2021, as well as paralympians Kinga Dróż, Katarzyna Kozikowska, and Adrian Castro, who prove that you can move mountains, if you believe in yourself.
This year, this team of champions will compete for gold wearing official gear designed by adidas, while the outfits we will admire during the opening ceremony have been designed by Blanka Jordan and Zuzanna Wachowiak from Bizuu.
In the second edition of “Vogue Polska Sport & Wellness”, we also present girls who ride waves in the most remote places on Earth and explain why everyone should try water sports. Kitesurfer Julia Damasiewicz, surfer Karolina Marczak, and windsurfer Maja Dziarnowska tell Paulina Klepacz about their greatest achievements and challenges. Sailors Agnieszka Skrzypulec-Szota, Magda Kwaśna, and Agata Barwińska show Ismena Dąbrowska the backstage of the preparations for the Olympic Games. Boxers Julia Szeremeta, Aneta Rygielska, Elżbieta Wójcik, who will fight for medals in Paris, talk to Anna Konieczyńska about breaking gender stereotypes, limits of endurance, and overcoming one’s limitations. Twin brothers Michał Chmielewski and Krzysztof Chmielewski are going to the Olympic Games together and are the first Poles who have a chance for gold since the era of Otylia Jędrzejczak.
