All you should know about “Vogue Polska” June issue
“In this issue, we examine the relations between fashion and folklore. Searching for inspirations, we travelled for photo shoots to Mexico, Taiwan and Podlasie,” writes Ina Lekiewicz Levy, the editor-in-chief, in her editorial to the June issue of Vogue Polska. Check out what else you can find in the latest edition of our magazine, coming with the “Kids” extra supplement for the first time.
The cover photo shoot titled “Fern Flower” was inspired by a Slavic legend. In her story, Kara Becker investigates the secrets of lacemakers from Koniaków, who work for the most renowned fashion houses, such as Dior, Elie Saab, or Louis Vuitton. We also discover Taiwan, which is called the most closely guarded secret of Asia for a reason, since it remained unknown to Western tourists for many years. Taipei has now become a new capital of arts, design, and fashion, while Taiwanese designers combine local arts and crafts with global trends. In Mexico, where the third photo shoot was created, we visited Oaxaca — the most ethnically diverse Mexican state.
