The March issue is out now
“Fashion reaches back to the past — not to copy it, but to give it a new meaning. In the March issue of Vogue, we analyze both the contemporary revival of the craft and drawing from the Renaissance in its literal sense,” writes Ina Lekiewicz Levy, the editor-in-chief, in her editorial. Vogue Polska takes a closer look at the haute couture fashion and its dialogue with history, examining the relations of the world of fashion with China, as well as the phenomenon of department stores. We talk to Mateusz Kościukiewicz about 20 years of his artistic work and to Agnieszka Szpila about her new project — a TV series titled “Black Daisies”. It is just a small glimpse of what you can find in the March issue of Vogue Polska devoted to the Renaissance.
Top trends in spring/summer 2025 and admiration with haute couture. Its origins date back to the Renaissance and today we are witnessing its yet another revival. To delve into the history and intricacies of haute couture, Vogue Polska travelled to Paris to visit the Louvre, where the first exhibition devoted to garments in over 200 years of the museum’s history was opened. “Within the space of 9,000 square meters of the museum’s arts & crafts department, a hundred objects are displayed, including 65 full outfits and more than 30 accessories. All of them have been borrowed, and each of them is presented together with an object from the museum, in most cases representing the Renaissance,” explains Kamila Wagner. The head of the Vogue Polska magazine department and a few other members of our team identify the hottest trends of the upcoming season and items you might want to invest in during spring and summer of 2025.
