All you need to know about the latest issue

In the May issue of Vogue Polska, childhood becomes a starting point for the story about identity and sensitivity. “In the cover photo shoot by Annie Lai stylized by Kasia Mioduska, large collars, colorful tights, and balloon-like dresses resembling kids’ clothing undergo a transformation, becoming elegant and feminine,” writes Ina Lekiewicz-Levy, the editor-in-chief, in her editorial for the new edition of the magazine. It is one of the two cover photo shoots we created for you this month. Karolina Rzepa, a star of the second photo shoot, is an actress who is confidently pursuing her professional goals. “I used to fight my own ambition. I was unable to enjoy my achievements, always thinking they are not enough. I thought I should work more and play more important roles. Today, I am more relaxed about my work. I don’t push things too much, because I like things to happen naturally,” reveals the actress interviewed by Angelika Kucińska. She says that her collaboration with Jan Jakub Kolski was the first milestone in her career. Rzepa appeared in three of his movies. Her role in the film titled “Two sisters” was also important. She entered the auditions with very short hair: “Our film makes the audience more sensitive to the situation in Ukraine. We are hearing more and more often that Poles are tired of dealing with Ukrainians, saying that there are too many of them and that they take our jobs. The war has become routine. I believe we should address this topic and treat the Ukrainians living in Poland with empathy and understanding,” says the actress.
