What will you read about in the summer edition of “Vogue Polska”?
Photos for two cover pages of the July-August issue of Vogue Polska were taken in the South of Poland, in the very heart of the Kłodzko Valley. We traveled to Krynica-Zdrój and Lądek- Zdrój, where the historic architecture of hydrotherapy centres and pump rooms sets the tone, builds the character, and gives a special charm to those small towns situated at the foot of the mountains. Aleksandra Boćkowska writes about their extraordinary history, a small piece of which can be admired in the photos taken by our editor-in-chief Ina Lekiewicz Levy. The star of the third cover page is the captain of the Poland women’s national football team. Ewa Pajor, one of the world’s best strikers, who has just joined the Orlen Team, talked to Anna Konieczyńska about supporting young talents, as well as about the upcoming European championship, for which the Polish women’s team qualified for the first time ever.
“In this issue of Vogue Polska, we search for a place to take a deep breath and discover new meanings of what is comfortable, valuable, and truly needed,” we read in the editorial by our editor-in-chief Ina Lekiewicz Levy. In her report titled “Between a uniform and pajamas”, Ola Salwa examines the extremely popular leisure wear aesthetics. In the world of blurred boundaries between work and leisure, pajamas, sweatpants, or oversized T-shirts have become our new uniforms. Can we get tired of luxury? Apparently we can, about which you can read in the “The reset of luxury” article by Kamila Wagner: “Owners of expensive clothes and accessories admit that they cannot fully enjoy all the pleasures of life, when they are afraid of damaging an expensive item they are wearing”.
