The November issue is out now
In this issue, we take a look at certain shapes that not only have aesthetic appeal, but have also become a tool of expression,” writes Ina Lekiewicz-Levy, the editor-in-chief of Vogue Polska, in her editorial. Musician Hania Rani is the star of the November issue’s cover photo shoot, which took place in the raw setting of Iceland. What else can you find in the November issue of our magazine?
“Fashion design is getting more and more similar to sculpting: designers deform, stretch, and enlarge figures in space” — these words opening the November issue of Vogue Polska are the best guide to interpretation of its subsequent pages. We examine forms in all possible areas — from fashion, through technology, to beauty and art.
“The form should listen to the substance,” believes Hania Rani, a Polish musician, who is the star of the November issue’s cover photo shoot. “Since her music career exploded in 2019, she has been on the road or in a recording studio practically all the time,” notices Anna Sańczuk, who meets the artist. Rani reveals that she sometimes composes her music during moments of silence, while the art of stopping “beyond time” in this fast-paced world is one of the most precious skills she has been trying to cultivate. She is a “quiet star”, who has built an acknowledged position in the global music industry, but instead of following the trends, she chooses to go back to her classical roots with a symphonic concerto for piano with an ensemble of 45 musicians called the Manchester Collective. The interview is accompanied by a unique photo shoot created on Iceland.
