THE PUBLISHER
Kasia Jordan
“I want to make the Visteria publishing house, through the Vogue Polska magazine and special projects, a window to the whole world, with its diversity, beautiful places, design, art and fashion”.
Kasia Jordan is a publisher and patron of the arts. In 2017, she signed, on behalf of the Visteria company she had established, a licensing agreement with Condé Nast, an American publishing house, covering the publication of a Polish edition of the Vogue magazine. A year later, Vogue Polska, along with the Vogue.pl website, debuted in the Polish market with a March issue and has been published regularly ever since. In February 2019, she established a book publishing house named Osnova, which publishes non-fiction literature.
As a part of her activity for the benefit of artistic institutions and artists in Poland and abroad, at the turn of 2015 she organized a painting exhibition of Wojciech Fangor in a gallery at 3 Grafton Street in London; in 2015, the same place hosted an exhibition of paintings by a Russian artist Erik Bulatov, brought to London by Kasia Jordan with the help of Simon de Pury, the curator of the exhibition. In London, she also organized an exhibition of photos by Mary McCartney, a British photographer, a daughter of Sir Paul McCartney and a sister of Stella McCartney, a fashion designer. The next exhibition of the artist was prepared on behalf of Vogue Polska in the Wola Museum of Warsaw in September 2019.
The art-related endeavors of Kasia Jordan include also a Polish-English edition of Vogue Polska Art Issue (November 2018), with Paulina Ołowska, a Polish artist, as the leading editor. In 2022, on behalf of the Osnova publishing house, she became a patron of the “Abakanowicz. Total” exhibition in the National Museum in Wroclaw and, as the publisher of Vogue Polska, a patron of the “Re-enchanting the World” exhibition by Małgorzata Mirga-Tas, representing Poland at the 59th Venice Biennale.
In the same year, Visteria, her publishing house, funded a special award during O!lśnienia 2022 — culture awards granted by Onet and the City of Krakow. The acclaim for her support of the world of art was confirmed with the invitation to the Exhibition Committee of the Serpentine Galleries and Central Eastern Europe North Eurasia Acquisitions Committee at Tate London. The professional career of Kasia Jordan is intertwined with her social activity. She is a member of the supervisory board of the Polish chapter of the Hungarian Bator Tabor Foundation, for which she organizes an annual charity auction of contemporary art. Proceeds from each auction are used to fund therapeutic summer camps for kids with cancer. She also contributed to the establishment of the Sexedpl Anti-Violence Helpline, offering help and psychological support to people affected by violence.
Kasia Jordan was born and raised in Poznan; she is a graduate of Italian studies at the Adam Mickiewicz University and sociology at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw.

Art & culture
From the very beginning of the Sexed.pl foundation established by Anja Rubik, a model and activist, to promote education about human rights and gender equality, Vogue Polska and Visteria have been patrons of its projects. They funded the establishment of the Sexedpl Anti-Violence Helpline, offering psychological support to people affected by violence.
